Created to determine the gaps between the needs of South Montgomery County Fire Department's firefighters and the limits of government spending, and provide for those needs.

The Foundation is a seperate entity from South County Professional Fire Fighters Assocation, but it is governed by SCPFFA members.

The Foundation is working on obtaining it's 501(c)3 status.
